I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the cottage. It really made me feel at home! The common areas were easily accessible and there were no stairs or obstacles that would be difficult for senior people like myself. It was wonderful to have a comfortable and inviting space to relax and unwind.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff in terms of providing information or suggestions specifically catered to senior people.

The room at Coonawarra's Pyrus Cottage was cozy and comfortable, with a flat-screen TV perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring. The toaster and microwave were handy for quick and easy meals. As a relaxed traveler, I felt right at home here.
The only thing I liked less - others might still enjoy it - was that there was just one bathroom in the cottage.

Coonawarra's Pyrus Cottage provided the perfect base for our family to explore the beautiful surroundings on bicycles. We had a blast cycling through the stunning vineyards, soaking in the picturesque landscapes, and immersing ourselves in the region's charm. The cottage itself was a haven of peace and comfort, with spacious living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. The added bonus of a veranda and front garden allowed us to relax and bask in the sunshine. The thoughtful provision of fresh eggs, milk, orange juice, and a deliciously baked loaf of bread in the morning truly made our stay extraordinary.
My wife says that our children wished there were more outdoor activities available for them.

The only thing I didn't love was the limited breakfast options. But hey, everyone has different tastes!

We absolutely got great value for our money at Pyrus Cottage. The room was cozy, comfortable, and peaceful, making for a delightful stay. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful vineyards within walking distance. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, with fresh-baked bread, eggs, and fruit as a lovely touch. Their hospitality was truly exceptional.
The only small suggestion I have for the breakfast menu is to include some bacon and tomatoes to make the delicious eggs and bread even better.

The location of the cottage was perfect, surrounded by vineyards and in close proximity to wineries. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread that was delivered to our doorstep each morning.-Our host was helpful and made great recommendations for winery tours.
The wi-fi was only accessible outside near the potting shed, which was inconvenient especially in cold weather. The bed was starting to sink a little, but it was still comfortable enough for our stay.

Nestled in a picturesque countryside setting, this beautifully furnished cottage offers a perfect location to unwind and explore the surrounding wineries. Guests can enjoy freshly baked bread and eggs for breakfast, and the French press coffee is a delightful treat. The spacious cottage is thoughtfully equipped with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay, including a cozy fireplace and a strong, hot shower.
One downside is that the Wi-Fi signal is only accessible in the potting shed, which may be inconvenient for those needing constant internet access.

We had a wonderful stay at Pyrus Cottage! The peaceful surroundings and the chorus of birdsong in the morning made it a truly serene experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the homemade bread provided for breakfast was absolutely delicious. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Maria, our thoughtful host, even arranged for fresh flowers and provisions for us to use. The location was ideal, with several wineries within walking distance. we highly recommend Pyrus Cottage for a perfect getaway.
While the cottage was very clean, the strong smell of bleach was a bit off-putting. Additionally, the mattress could have been more comfortable.
